indian people, couldn't understand but they persisted and nearly convinced me. i rang microsoft[in phone book]they were very proficient and had me up going again. Watch out for so called people,hang up PLEASE!!!!!

Received call wanting to access my computer. When I said I would get a technician to look he said they wouldn't be able to help as he was from Microsoft I asked for phone number to call back on and he gave me this one. Name - Steve Morrison. No way will I give info out on this

Got a call from this number. I wasnt aware of the scam. did what he said. he had controlled my laptop via remote access and then hung up the call.
Scared now and not turning on my laptop

same here. Guy was speaking 100 miles an hour. sounded desperate. got his number and hung up on them. Indian guy lots of noise. Couldnt understand him anyway

computer scam. tried to get me to download a remote access veiwer for winodws, played dumb and said i would call back. this was the number provided

Same as the other - Windows scam. Called by "Kelly" from Windows about my computer. Asked for a number to verify the call. This was the number given. Answered immediately when I called and the 'gentleman' offered to put me straight through to "Kelly Smith". I could hear a lot of people in the background.

she said she is calling from Windows Management Services and that we have a virus on our pc - load of bull please be careful do not provide any information over the phone

Call received from this number 1.30pm est.
"There is something wrong with your computer". Spoke to this lady (who had an "Indian"accent) and listened to her speel.

She wanted me to go into my computer and she would guide me on what to key in to fix problem. I told her I would get my Tech. to look at it first, and then I would contact her. She gave me this phone number, but when I asked her what town or city it was in she baulked and hung up.
