I'm having the same problem. You can easily block them on the iPhone by clicking the (i) symbol and then block. With android phones, MrNumber is a great app for blocking numbers.
When I call back it is a mailbox "2471" and their mailbox is full. I have never answered a call from them as I dont know the numbers. I have several other numbers from the same 2471 mailbox I recommend you block. Hopefully others will list numbers which belong to this spammer.

My guess is that now that people know how to block numbers so easily spammers need to use several different numbers to get past these blocks. With sites like this listing their numbers for everyone to see, we will quickly learn all their numbers and block them all.

Funeral Insurance, these people have continuously called me since the beginning of the year. Doesn't this company get it! I would NO WAY use your service after the constant harrassment from your telemarketers, who are rude, unprofessional and were these people hired off the street....no idea on customer service. I now complain to the comapny that hired this morons and tell them that i would never use your service and will advise anyone thinking about it to not..... this company interferes in my life, so back back is a karma

Been getting calls almost daily. When I call back, it's silence initially, then I am directed to automated voicemail service asking me to leave my details, but then it says the mailbox is full and hangs up on me.

As from 09/06/2014 till 12/06/2014, I received four phone calls from this number. When I answered, the call was disconnected each time. Today, 13/06/2014, I was lucky that I answered and a person spoke to me, trying to sell me insurance. I asked them "Where did you get this number from?", they said "I'm not trying to sell you anything, but are you interested in life insurance?". I asked again where they got my number from, and the person on the other end disconnected the call. Question: Is our privacy actually private, or are they selling us like chicken nuggets?

This number has been ringing at least three times a day for the last couple of months only friends have my number as I don't know anybody else in Australia. It is getting very annoying and needs to be investigated asnit happens in work time to. Most of the time when you answer they hang up hoping younwill ring them no doubt.

This number keeps calling me and it is really annoying.
When I pick up it is silent. So I called back and it won't connect to anyone. Called TPG to block this number, I was told they can't. After talking to 3 staff about the same thing, since they transfer someone and another transfer...
I can't even claim the complaint since they require exact time and day of calls and I don't have it.,deleted my log to make storage space yesterday.
I was told to report it to police but I'm wondering if they can help :(

I received a call from this number and the gentleman was trying to sell a life insurance from Virgin Money, when I told him I was not interested, he just hung up.

Been getting calls off this number for the last six months, blocked theyre number and still see theyre attempting to call on my phone log lol. Ive just seen that theres the australian communications and media (which is a government page) that apparently stops phone calls like these for the next 8 years. Ill be registering with them and seeing how that goes, hopefully they dont publish my number on the australian herald front page

Have REPEATEDLY told this company, 24/7 that I am NOT interested in buying insurance through them, yet they continue to call again & again, sometimes more than once a day! This number calls me from early morning to late evening up to 3 or 4 times a day at times! We have asked them to stop calling and that we are not interested and they still keep calling. They also hang up when you take the call? This has only happened since i joined Optus so i wonder if they are giving out my number??? When we have tried to contact them to please stop calling as it wakes us up in the mornings and night shift is involved we can't get through! Absolutely sick of these phone calls. They are seriously annoying and there seems to be nothing we can do about it! HELP!

I have been harassed by these people in the past trying to sell me insurance. I have repeated asked for them not to call. There was a short break in the calls but they have now started again with them calling numerous times a day including late into the evening. When I pick up and say hello they hang up without saying anything now. My mobile number is unlisted.

When u get telemarketers ring save them to your contacts as telem do not answer, I have over 25 saved, it saves me answering & having to talk to these persistent scum bags that have no respect for u & can't take no for an answer, y would I buy from these sort of people or companies that run their businesses like this.
Should be made illegal to do business like this.

I am getting at least four calls daily, sometimes more, from this number. They call my work mobile. They have been informed not to call but ignore any contact of this type. I have now blocked them on my phone to see if that makes a difference.

I have received 7 calls from this number to my mobile and 4 calls to my unlisted home number in the past two weeks. I have answered the call twice and the caller will hang up a few seconds after I've answered the call. I have recalled the number twice and get an answer service. This is moving beyond the point of survey and resting on the boundaries of harassment. This S#*T seriously needs to stop.

This number has been calling me incessantly, up to three of four times a day and I am rather sick of it. These calls coincide with me changing my phone service provider to Optus. Considering that I have no had any problems with nuance callers prior to this I suspect that there may be a connection.

Its not just funeral insurance but they sell everything and have thousands of phone numbers.Sometimes by simply answering the call your cell is charged, that's why they don't answer.
Your provider sells your number to a call center if not knowingly then unknowingly meaning some one in the provider company your with sells them your number i on the side. Its not some conspiracy for a future scam you nutter @ Russel. There is no way of getting rid of these annoying calls because they'll simply change their number as your provider allows them to have as many numbers as they want. Don't answer a number you don't know and live with the disadvantages of the technical age.

Very over this now, 3-8 times per day for the past 3 WEEKS! I have told them I am not interested numerous times, and one time I had just hung up saying that I was not interested and 30 seconds later they called me back up, I lost my cool that time. I really am over it. It is now verging on the point of harassment for me. It should be ILLEGAL for company's to ring the same number more that 3 times per day.

I have received a number of calls from this number in the past as well and had asked for my number to be removed from their calling list. I answered a call from them today but they hung up so I phoned them back. The woman said they were called 24/7 and the call was in regards to insurance line, a courtesy call. I asked for my number to be removed from their calling list, and the woman apologised for it not having being removed previously when I had asked. Hopefully no more calls from these annoying people!!

I have been called by this number at least 20 times. I used to answer it and speak into the receiver. I suspect that there is some scan that records people's voice for use in some kind of voice print identification fraud scam being planned in the near future

Just received an unwelcome call to my mobile phone from this 02 9037 2804 and very curious to how my mobile number's been made available in the first place.
Regardless, I've simply blocked this number manually on my phone in its settings.
If you're not able to manually block or bar this number yourself, ask your phone carrier how to do it, or if they'll do it for you.
Another method is to visit the ACMA's Do Not Call Register www.donotcall.gov.au

As I in the middle of replying I was hung up on again. 1/2 hour prior to this I was called on my home phone from some funeral insurance guy (their number didn't display on my phone), who I had informed that I was not interested.

I answered this call about 3 weeks ago and the man on the end of the phone offered me income insurance. I said I was at work and really busy and sorry but I didn't want the insurance.
This same number has called my mobile at least three times a day ever since then.
I am now in Thailand and not answering my phone as I don't want to get charged international fees.
It's really starting to annoy me!

A caller from this number calls serval times a day. When I pick up, they hang up!
Getting to the point where I'm going to buy a sports whistle and blow it down the line next time they call.

Every morning and sometimes in the afternoon this phone number calls my phone they never speak they just hang up.
Along with three other different numbers, I tried re dial only to get a busy sound.
Very sick to death of these nuisance calls.

I have had at least 3-4 calls from this number every day for the past month.
It seems to be for life or funeral insurance.
I don't even know where they got my number from.
Im sick of the phone calls.
