My wife received a call from this number, representing ATO, that I owe $1,900.00.. The police have issued an arrest warrant and I have to make a the payment immediately.. also asked me to go to nearest post office and he will explain me how to make the payment.
So people, please be careful

Told me that he was from the ATO. That I had legal cases against me and that I should give him some details to settle the matter. I hung up however he has phoned 4 times this morning.
Very dense Asian/Indian accent, extremely difficult to understand.

on 04/09/14, I received a call from Justin Smith from ATO Head Office re DC 1928 today and that I have defaulted payment and therefore I have 3 criminal case against me.
When I questioned the call and his authority, he thretned to not use my DL after 45 minutes as it will be cancelled.

On 25th August received a call from this number (0290374257)some Indian guy was threatening to pay $1000 otherwise AFP will come to arrest you within 30 minutes because you did because you did not pay to the ATO on time. He also threatened me that if I hung up the phone then the procedure will be activated. Unfortunately I followed the instructions deposited money on the "Load and Go card" and also mentioned the PIN number and access code to that fraud person and lost $1000. Within one hour my husband reported this matter to the AFP but the money was already transferred overseas. Please try to track down these criminals and bring them to justice.

Threatening me to pay $1,900,the person name he name was Brian Smith from payroll department ATO.And if I don't make the payment that the Australian Government will send me back to my country.
The crazy thing he knew my address.
I have inform the ATO office about this call, as well the police report.

I have received similar scam call from 0290374257. I have already registered a complaint to ATO. Please call ATO immediately and give them as much details as possible.

I would like to make a complaint against this number and the person who called and threatened me.
