its ridiculous. this same guy that keeps calling seems to know my name and everything.
tries to leave a message and calls at least twice every morning.
it has been going on for months, i finally downloaded a call blocking app that just hangs up so he cant leave a message, but the idiot doesnt seem to get the message that i'm not interested.

I rang back the number, got someone in the Philippines who then put me through to a New Zealand accented helpful woman, I lodged the complaints on behalf of everyone, got her email and submitted all of my numbers. Let's see what happens now.

Does anybody know how to stop Fairfax for calling? Every time they ring they hang up as soon as I answer in our business name.

Fairfax Media using Manilla-based-call-centre to process credit card payments for their newspaper advertising. Not impressed that I was not told when placing an advertisement with the Fairfax group that my credit card account details would be processed by a Manilla-based call centre. The number comes up as (02) area code which makes one assume a Sydney based firm. If I had known that my credit card details would now reside in another country I would NEVER have placed an advertisement with their newspaper. Not impressed with Fairfax Media. This is bordering on misleading and deceiving practice and in my opinion is Unconscionable conduct.

It was the Canberra times trying to sell advertisement. I answered today after a week of almost daily calls. Said I was not interested because i am moving. Will see if they stop calling. At least the number is showing and I can know who is calling.
