Australia Reverse Phone Lookup

I receive the exact same message asking to call Lyly and the number goes straight to voicemail - definitely seems like a scam.

Had the same text message. i've tried ringing many times but only answering machine answered.

Yep got the text they have my first and second name telling me to call Lyly.. Goes to answering machine!

My husband received the same text. '[name], you have an outstanding debt which may appear on a national default registry. Call Lyly on 0386112681, ref:...'
Glad I read this feed. Although I did call the number 5 times now, I've left a voicemail to call me back but still no response and no mention of the 'company'.

Complete scam run by Indians I think. This has been going on randomly for about five years. I think I remember talking to someone years ago who tried the "this is important and you can clear it by giving me your credit card here and now". I am an accountant - I do not pay anything without paperwork and I told them so. Never got a call again. But the text messages persist.
I looked at their site and they have a legitimate BPAY code. If you are dumb enough to pay on just this info, well " a fool and ..." as the expression goes.

I just received the same text, called back twice with no answer and it went through to an answering machine. I have no debts, and have only listed my business two days ago on a couple of free business websites. I believe they are fake and got my number from a website.

I just received a message from this number, and they used the wrong name. I was about to call to inform the them they'd send the message to the wrong person, but I felt I should check here first. Be aware that it's a scam. I have no debts, and my name is definitely not what they said it was.

Ditto...I received the same text. They used my first name, gave me a reference number, but no information about their company or what the debt is related too. I am very on top of my finances, so I can only assume this is some kind of scam!!

I just received a text the same as others are saying that I have a debt that could affect my credit rating and to call.
Thankfully I have seen these comments and as I doubted it would be correct I will not be calling them.

Exactly the same message to call Lyly on this number. Asking for EVE. Completely wrong name. Rang number no answer, rang reception, they asked me if I lived at some strange address. Said no.

COMPLETE SCAM!! We have no debts, website looks dodgy.

I received a text message from 03 8611 2600 saying I had "an outstanding debt which may appear on a national default register. Call Lyly on 038611 2681. Ref:######".

This was back in Oct 2013.

Today I received a txt just asking me to contact Lyly at eCollect T:0386112681 with the same reference number as the txt in October.

Got an txt from the saying the exact same "____ you have an outstanding debt blah blah call back ref no." Called them back straight to message bank...

Yep...exactly the same for me.

Used my first and middle names and when I call the number - it just goes to an answering machine.

Received a text message today "You have an outstanding debt which may appear on a national default registry. Call Lyly on 0386112681". Left a reference number. I called and it went to message bank. I don't have any outstanding debts however they had my correct first name.

I had the same message sent to me they are trying to get money out of you.
Be very carful do not give any money or details to anyone.

Looks like fake company trying to get money for fake debt collection. Just Msgd me now.

Also, they addressed me by my first and middle names, no surname.

Calls from "e-collect.com.au" a debt collection agency in Melbourne when you google the phone number they send. Had my name incorrect to start with and carried a message about an outstanding debt. As I have access to such records I am aware that I don't! Beware of answering the call that's all I would say. There are other ways of checking out your credit ratings (such as through your bank which you trust) than this.

The return number never answers, and it doesn't say what company they are trying to recover the debt for
