These people have hides like rhinos! They keep ringing.

Have an answering machine - preferably using the generic "Yank" message - so they don't hear your own voice. Do not give them any information.

Always allow your answering machine to take the call whilst you listen to see if it is actually someone you wish to talk to. Genuine callers will leave a message. Tell your friends to start leaving a message and if you are there you will pick up when you recognize them.

Use "call blocking" if your phone has this option.

Same as others, claim they are not selling, wont stop ringing and they make false claims; e.g. "your partner was interested in finding out more", or "last time we spoke you said you were busy and asked that I call back".

Knew our occupations. Said we were entitled to government breaks. I said we are on the do not disturb register and he said it doesn't matter because they aren't selling us anything. I said take me off your database as I don't like being disturbed at home. He then asked for my mobile number for their records instead. I once again said take me off your database

Kept getting the same annoying 'tax incentive' scam calls, so I decided to play along and arrange a meeting time and gave them my name (false) and my address with a time to come around and 'help me' save 50% of my tax woes.. the address I gave them just happens to be my local 24 hour Police station :) hope they enjoy their visit :)

I have had over a dozen calls or more from this number so now not answering

this mob won't take no for an answer!! They keep calling and trying to arrange for someone to come and speak to us about saving tax. Claim to be part of some govt scheme yet when asked, they will not post out info to me!! They ring every evening, several times. I ended up unplugging my phone as they constantly rang during my day off. I don't answer when I see the number but they still try!!

Every single day I get between 5 and 10 calls from this number but there is NEVER anyone on the other end.

Like everybody else, I am heartily sick of these nuisances. If you have the time and the inclination, mess with them! I softly told them that my mortgage was killing me (I don't have one) and that my (also non-existent) business loan - of $1.5 million was driving me into the ground and my health, and that of my family's, was also suffering. Naturally, the caller became VERY excited. Quickly looking at the local street directory, I eventually gave them a fictional number in the street of a derelict area in our capital city and arranged to meet them at 6pm the following week.

About time WE got back at some of these turkeys!

never stop calling my house even after i told them that im not intrested he then told me he will call every day to harrass me.

Constantly calling asking for me personally - I've kept telling them not to call and to take me off the calling list.

I have the exact same problem! I have repeatly asked them not to call me and they continue to call between 7.30pm and 8pm every night!!!

every day around 6-8pm I get two or three calls from this number. No longer answer it. bloody annoying!!

Someone from this number keeps ringing insistently up until late at night. I do not answer but the ringing phones makes it very hard for my little ones to sleep!! Not happy!

2 phone calls in less than 10 mins. told them the 1st time not interested. They called back and insisted i put my husband on the the phone ! told caller not interested and that we are on the Do Not Call Register and to remove our number.

I have had this number ring me with a survey. Then they rang back today a number of times until I eventually answered. They say they can save me money on tax? Call themselves "Infinite Group". Yes they do ring a lot before and after too.

For the last two weeks I get about 6 calls a DAY from this number (can see from caller ID). Starts from 9 in the morning until 7 in the evening. I have told them to stop calling but it persists, every day. I am utterly sick of it! Is there anything that can be done to shut these clowns down!!

Sick of getting calls from this number, even after trying to decipher what they are saying (international accents) and further more, informing them that I have no interest in speaking with them and that I am on the 'Do Not Call' register, they persist in calling near on a daily basis

I keep getting calls from the above number maybe 3 to 4 times a day starting first thing in the morning and as late as 8pm. I answer asking who is there and no one replies. I also rang the number back, but no dial tone. Could you, whoever yous are, investigate
